Attention, hosts! This is a bit tricky.
MaestroConference Video lets attendees see each other during the events, and they will see different groups depending on their mic status and which rooms they are in so you have to make sure that mics are enabled accordingly. The mic controls and rooms are controlled in the Conductor Interface (caller dashboard). Not just the presenters, but assistants and those who have the link to the Conductor Interface even when they're not dialed in to the call can switch the attendees' mics and rooms.
This article will guide you how your attendees (depending on their roles) will see the Meeting screen when you put them in different rooms, and different microphone statuses to avoid overlapping of discussions between breakout rooms (on both audio and video).
Reminder: As long as no one is on Public Mic, then people in their own breakout rooms will only see AND hear their own groups.
Below are the different views according to mic statuses and rooms. Each table shows the role of the attendee, the mic status that they're on, and the room they're in- these can be switched in the Conductor Interface. The screenshots will show the different views depending on the fields shown on the tables.
- Video sizes are equal among attendees regardless of role, everyone will have same views on their screens
- Green mic icon indicator to know that attendees are on Public mic status

- Everyone in their breakout rooms will still hear the Presenters and see them on their screens, but the participants will only be heard by the same people in their own Breakout rooms- The Presenter will NOT hear them.
Presenter's screen: shows all participants, regardless of rooms they're in
Participant's screen: shows the breakout room number they're in

- People will see and hear the people included in their own breakout rooms ONLY. On top of their screens will show the breakout room number they're in

- Participants in their own breakouts appear larger than others who are in other breakout rooms and separated on screen with the breakout room number the caller's in, but will see AND hear everyone as long as they're in Public mics
