Previously, multiple callers could use the same PIN in the same event, OR a caller could dial in the same event more than once. Now, if a caller tries to join Social Webinar with the same PIN as someone else, they will be asked to register for a new PIN to complete the login process. By assigning each caller a unique PIN as opposed to sharing a PIN, hosts will get better data about who are present on the call.
When a single PIN is used by multiple users, the Social Webinar will display the User Phone Verification screen to validate a caller. The caller needs to enter the last 4 digits of their phone number to be verified. Failing to do so will require them to click on the button “REGISTER PIN”.
Clicking the REGISTER PIN button will show the following screen. The caller will have to register for a new PIN using their name name and email address. Click on REGISTER NOW to register for the conference.
You will see the following message on the screen when you have successfully registered.
When using the Webphone, you can check the last four digits of the Webphone number here.
